As an architect with a keen interest in blending history with modern hospitality, my recent stay at OYO 8565 Hotel Golden Palace during a family vacation was quite memorable. The hotel's location offers easy access to College Street, making it convenient for leisurely strolls through nearby attractions. We appreciated the family-friendly amenities, particularly the comfortable dining hall where my family enjoyed meals together. The housekeeping staff maintained a good level of cleanliness, ensuring we felt at home. Although our room was an okay size with a comfortable bed, it provided enough space for us to move around and relax after our adventures in Kolkata. One afternoon, we took advantage of room service, which did experience a slight delay, yet the food was satisfactory. The hotel's one-way road may have presented transport challenges, but the overall ease of conveyance made our explorations simple. While pricing was reasonable, the ambiance and services truly enhanced our familial experience, allowing us to focus on making cherished memories.
